The nearly 3,600-square-foot space in Grapevine would house the trendy pizza restaurant, which is based in Florida. The brand has about 10 locations in Florida, as well as other international locations in Spain and Saudi Arabia.

Renato Viola, who was raised in Southern Italy, settled in Miami Beach under the O1 Visa category, which is reserved for people with “Extraordinary Artistic Ability.” Viola first opened Mister O1 to share his “extraordinary pizza” in 2014.

The artisanal pizzas feature a thin crust style with a light dough. “Mister O1 uses only the finest and freshest ingredients and most of them are imported from Italy or locally sourced,” according to the Mister O1 website.

The menu features star-shaped pizzas filled with ricotta cheese and topped with various ingredients such as bacon, zucchini, and fresh tomatoes. Diners can enjoy other savory creations such as calzones and salads, as well as the Nutella Pizza for dessert.

John LaBarge is the Mister O1 franchisee for the Dallas location and is listed as the tenant for the Grapevine restaurant. There’s no official word on when the Grapevine location might open.
