La Antojeria Jalisco is opening a second North Texas location. According to lease intel, the restaurant is bringing its authentic Mexican cuisine to 949 N Highway 67.
The location is part of Cedar Hill Pointe, an 80,000-square foot shopping supercenter that is home to a number of retailers such as Bamboo Palace, Jason’s Deli, Sleep Number, and Spec’s Wine, Spirits & Finer Foods. La Antojeria Jalisco will occupy suite 359.
A Cedar Hill Pointe Facebook post from October 12 reads, “La Antojeria Jalisco is coming to Cedar Hill Pointe! Stay tuned for updates on the best birria tacos in town.”
La Antojeria Jalisco currently operates a Fort Worth location at 4200 S Freeway inside La Gran Plaza Mall’s food court. In January of this year, the restaurant posted to Facebook that they had a Midland, Texas, location coming soon. But no further information has been released on this and What Now Dallas could not immediately confirm.
The restaurant is most known for serving birria tacos. Birria is a Mexican soup or stew dish from the state of Jalisco. The tacos are made by dipping tortillas in the fat that floats to the top of the birria while it cooks, filling it with the stew’s meat, and then placing it on a griddle.
