A kids cooking studio that provides weekly classes, camps, and a space for birthday parties is being planned for Frisco. Flour Power could open at 1648 FM 423, Ste. 300 in Frisco, possibly by the end of 2022, according to state licensing information.

Flour Power offers classes for preschool-aged children to teenagers. The studio hosts corporate events and also offers adult classes, Kids Night Out events, and etiquette classes.

Weekly classes for the kids are themed and focus on hands-on cooking sessions. The children can then take the recipes they’ve learned and try them at home. Adults can take an evening class and bring their own beer or wine to sample as they learn a few skills in the kitchen.

Founder Susan Caldwell first opened Flour Power Kids Cooking Studios in Raleigh, NC back in 2008. There are now more than 15 franchisees in multiple states including Texas, Colorado, and Tennessee. Flour Power locations are currently in operation in Allen and Denton.
