Landon Winery is expanding its footprint at The Sound at Cypress Waters and will add its sixth location this fall. Landon Winery will add a couple of thousand square feet to its current location at 3121 Olympus Blvd.
“We’re right there on the lake. It’s a great location,” said Bob Landon, president of Landon Winery. The suite is adjacent to the current space. “It’s about 22-hundred square feet. It has a garage door on it, so you can see our current patio and the lake. We’ll be able to expand our patio,” Landon explained.
The garage door on the new space can be opened during nice weather or even when it’s raining. “We can open the garage door and treat it like a patio.” The tasting bar will remain in the current space, and renovations will connect the two suites. The expansion will primarily be used for additional seating and storage.
“We are very excited. When they contacted us, I jumped on it right away,” Landon told What Now Dallas. “We just thought it would be a great idea.” He hopes to have all of the renovations completed in October, and the changes are not expected disrupt current operations.
In addition to The Sound at Cypress Waters location, Landon Winery has locations in Wylie, Grapevine, McKinney, and Greenville. Landon Winery is also adding a tasting room at 318 W. Main St. in Denison. They have already done some demo work on the space. The Downtown Denison Landon Winery will be the brand’s sixth location and could open sometime in October.
Landon Winery has received hundreds of medals, awards, and recognitions for its wines and often hosts live music, wine dinners, and food pairings, according to the brand’s website. The menu features gourmet charcuterie boards, artisanal flatbreads, and heartier fare such as grilled cheese sandwiches.
