The menu includes a variety of “rice balls” or onigiri that are filled with ingredients. Some options are Wagyu Beef, Gung Ho Chicken, Roasted Pork, and Shrimp Tempura. Other menu options include Korean Corn Dogs, fried chicken, pork, or Wagyu beef sandwiches, fries, and crispy dumplings.

A group of friends including Dallas Native Will Eckles, Ian Greenberg, and Harrison Nguyen founded GoGogiri in 2021, the article stated. Eckles told CultureMap Dallas that he and Greenberg got the idea for the restaurant after a trip to Tokyo. GoGogiri currently operates as a food truck in Lubbock and has another location in the works for a spot at Abilene Airport.

According to the brand’s website, “The end goal of GoGogiri is to become a nationwide chain, offering new unique fast-casual options to the average American consumer.”
