An exact opening date has yet to be announced, but an official with the franchisee group told What Now Dallas that it will probably be a late December or early January opening.

Over the past few years, Dunkin’ has carried out aggressive expansion plans throughout the DFW metroplex with four existing franchise groups. Several of the restaurants have been multi-brand locations with sister brand Baskin-Robbins, the world’s largest chain of ice cream specialty shops.

According to a company press release, Dunkin’s goal is to eventually grow to 1,000 Texas restaurants over the long-term. Currently, there are more than 170 restaurants in operation in the Lone Star State.

Dunkin’ Donuts offers more than just donuts. Its menu has expanded over the years to include hot coffee, iced coffee, flavored coffees, lattes, macchiato, espresso, cappuccino, Coolatta® frozen drinks, muffins, bagels, and breakfast and bakery sandwiches.
