“We have been humbled by the success of our restaurants in Dallas and have long considered the city home,” said Founder Sam Fox in a statement. “We get to serve the community at Flower Child, North Italia, Culinary Dropout and The Henry, and now we can share the delicious menu of Doughbird. If we do our job, Doughbird will become a regular spot for locals and an exciting concept for visitors in the area to enjoy lunch, dinner, and cocktails while making memories.”

The 5,258-square-foot space offers guests an ideal spot for an afternoon lunch with friends, a perfect date night or a meal for the whole family, complete with a 1,306-square-foot patio for outdoor dining. The interior will also feature a refurbished parachute art piece that is special to the Dallas location.

Guests craving pizza can choose between hand stretched, Detroit-style or house made gluten-free crust, topped with Bianco DiNapoli Tomato sauce. Signature pizzas include The Aviator with pepperoni, Italian sausage, Nueske’s bacon, crushed tomato sauce and mozzarella, the Copper Hat with prosciutto, goat cheese, Medjool date, salted pistachio and arugula, and the Roasted Tomato & Artichoke with blistered sweet peppers, red onion, mozzarella and garden herbs.

Doughbird’s beverage menu features a vast selection of wines including whites, reds, rosé and prosecco, and a variety of coastal draft beers with local favorites such as the Deep Ellum Dallas Blonde and Tupps Brewery IPA. The lineup of innovative cocktails made in-house includes a mix of libations such as the Lovers Lane Mule made with vodka, lime, dried five spice and ginger beer, the Bourbon & Bells made with KY straight bourbon, lemon, bell pepper, honey and poblano and The Local, made with strawberry infused vodka, French grapefruit liqueur, lemon and sparkling wine. For those seeking a chilling cocktail, imbibers can sip on the Frozen Piña Colada made with a run trio, fresh pineapple, lime and creme de coconut, and the Frozen Miami Vice which combines a strawberry daiquiri and the famous piña colada for a refreshing fusion. Zero-proof cocktail highlights include the Blackberry Rickey made with pressed mint, blackberry jam, fresh lime and fizzy water, and the Southern Peach Tea made with clover honey, ripe peach and sparkling yuzu sour.
