Asmus told What Now Dallas that he is opening other locations across Texas. Asmus said they are currently going through the permitting phase for a location in Round Rock and have committed to a New Braunfels location, which could open in 2024. Other franchisees have locations planned near Ridgmar Mall in Fort Worth and in the Houston area.

Dirty Dough has locations across Utah and in Arizona. “We’re expanding very fast as a brand,” Asmus said. “We first stumbled upon the first Dirty Dough location in Vineyard, Utah.” Asmus enjoyed the quality and taste of the cookie, plus the marketing and efficiency model was unique, so he decided to move forward with the brand.

“Our cookies are going to be filled, so they have different components inside of them that makes them very unique.” Asmus’ favorite cookie thus far is the Reverse Reese’s.

The stuffed, multi-layered cookies are offered in a variety of flavors including chocolate chip, Carmedoodle, and Brookie. The menu rotates weekly. Asmus thinks Dirty Dough cookies will be something unique for the market.

Asmus is working to identify potential locations in the Alliance area. The new North Texas Dirty Dough could open in late fall 2023 or early winter.
