As the owners of Arlington’s L&L Hawaiian Barbecue, this is not Rahul and his wife April’s first restaurant rodeo, but it is one that carries special sentiment for them both.
“We love to travel and go to Europe quite often,” Rahul said. “Pastries are so common over there, and so delicious. Everywhere you go — high quality croissants, cakes and other pastries.” But when they return, Rahul says they are hard-pressed to find pastries and coffee that compare to the quality they find abroad. “We came across Paris Baguette and it felt as close as you can get to the real thing.”
The couple looks forward to bringing quality pastries, breads, cakes and “expertly brewed drinks” to the area. The chain currently has over 4,000 locations worldwide, but still works to maintain the feel of a “neighborhood bakery cafe,” as the website calls it.
This will likely not be Rahul and April’s last opening for the chain, with future plans that include Mansfield, Arlington and possibly McKinney and Plano throughout 2025.
