The Retro Rink floor will hold 250-300 skaters, according to a Facebook post by owner Jayme Haney. The space at 9744 E Bankhead Hwy. will also offer six private party rooms with retractable walls, an arcade, plus a toddler zone.

A full snack bar will be available for food and drink. Some menu items include pretzels, pizza, nachos, chicken strips, and French fries.

Once open, The Retro Rink plans to offer special skating sessions including adult night on Thursdays. “We wanted to bring something fun for everyone to the area and hope you will all support us,” Jayme said in the post. They hope to open The Retro Rink before the end of 2023, possibly in December.

Fortified Fitness, also owned by the Haney family, is still under construction with a grand opening date set for August 8. Weightlifting, boxing, and Pilates will be offered, and amenities such as spray tanning, cryotherapy, infrared saunas, and more will be available. A premium smoothie and coffee bar will also be housed at the gym and will feature whole-food based smoothies and shakes, coffees, and grab-n-go meals.
