A coffee shop based in Dearborn, Michigan is headed to the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex. Haraz Coffee House is tentatively set to open at 4301 14th St. in Plano sometime in the spring of 2023, possibly in March.
Haraz Coffee House founder Hamzah Nasser told What Now Dallas he decided to open the Yemeni coffee concept in the Texas market after speaking with Texans who visited the Michigan locations. The Plano location will be corporate-owned.
Haraz Coffee House has multiple locations currently in operation in Michigan. Others are under construction and are expected to open by the end of 2022. The first Haraz Coffee House outside of the state of Michigan will be located in Louisville, Kentucky and is expected to open next week. Texas’ first location will be in Sugar Land and could open in early 2023.
“This is the American Dream. I’ve lived in the dream for a long time, and now it’s becoming a reality. I’m happy to bring a new experience,” Nasser said.
“My belief on coffee is that it unites people. Every coffee shop that I have is so diverse, so many diverse customers, and I want to bring a new experience. I want to introduce a new culture, the original culture of coffee. I just love seeing people walking in and smiling and meeting each other,” Nasser said. “That’s the beauty of having a coffee shop.”
Haraz Coffee House serves coffees, lattes, and tea. Guests can order individually or as glass pots of coffee or tea to share with family and friends. Specialty desserts will also be available.
“I’m just very excited. I can’t wait to meet so many new customers and be part of a new community.”
