Popular Atlanta-based chain, Tropical Smoothie Café, is opening a franchise location in Lake Worth.
Located at 6116 Lake Worth Blvd., the café will be housed in a newly constructed building, occupying a space of 1,700-square-feet. Renovation work, which is expected to begin in February and be completed by the end of April, will be done on the space to include dining, smoothie prep and a drive-thru feature.
Founded in 1997, Tropical Smoothie Café focuses on serving healthy food options and delicious smoothies made with fresh fruits and veggies. Falling under the categories of super veggie, balanced fusions, fruit blends and tropical treats, the café has quite the selection of smoothie flavors. Avocolada, Island Green, Acai Berry Boost and Sunrise Sunset are all fan faves. Guests have the option to add in additional ingredients such as supplements like pea protein and vitamin B-12 or seeds, nuts and oats.
The café’s extensive food menu features made-to-order wraps, flatbreads, sandwiches, salads and quesadillas. There’s even breakfast items like the Peanut Butter Banana Crunch Flatbread made with peanut butter, banana, granola and honey.
Tropical Smoothie Café has seen impressive growth over the last several years with the goal to have 1,500 cafes open by the end of 2024. And the brand is well on its way. In September 2021, the 1,000th Tropical Smoothie Café location opened in Flower Mound.
