Perez previously lived in Florida where she taught for 15 years. Perez wanted to try something new after COVID, so she moved back to Texas to be closer to family. Perez partnered with her sister and brother-in-law, Robin and Marc Robertson to open Scooter’s Coffee through RMR Brews, LLC.

“We were looking for something to do,” Perez said, “and the core values, the way they run their business and their franchise operation, that’s really what pulled us to Scooter’s versus any other franchise.”

The drive-thru coffee shop offers a variety of hot and cold beverages, plus food items. The Caramelicious is a fan favorite, plus guests can enjoy an Americano, café au lait, and a variety of flavorful lattes.

Blenders are available in a variety of flavors such as Candy Bar and Mocha. Fruit smoothies, teas, and food items such as breakfast sandwiches and burritos, cookies, and cinnamon rolls are also offered.

The Frisco Scooter’s Coffee will be located at 9333 Preston Rd. They are also working on opening a Scooter’s Coffee in Celina but don’t have a confirmed location, yet.
