And, best of all, if you’re one of the first 100 guests to arrive on opening day, you could receive free chicken salad for a year. The company will celebrate its grand opening all week, with giveaways and deals through Saturday, September 25.

Meggie and John Schissler, the wife-and-husband team, are the franchisees behind this and five other locations in the area. According to a press release, after Midlothian, the pair plans to open their next Chicken Salad Chick location in Southlake in early 2022.

“With love at first bite, John and I knew an opportunity lay ahead with Chicken Salad Chick and ultimately drove us to start a new life in Fort Worth,” said Meggie Schissler in the press release. “From the first Texas location to now operating our sixth restaurant, we have come to truly love our community in Dallas-Fort Worth and our dedication to the brand has only grown stronger. Our goal is to continue spreading joy, enriching lives, and serving others in each of our communities just like Midlothian.”
