The restaurant began in in Buffalo, New York, in 1964 where it stakes its claim as “The Original Buffalo Wing.” A lofty claim, but it’s supported by it’s continued growth from New York to Maryland, Virginia, George, Illinois, and now Texas.

The menu includes wings of course, with a variety of sauce and rub options, as well as pizza, sandwiches, burgers, entrees and sides like Mac & Cheese, salad, tots, loaded fries, and more.

This is not McCLurge’s first dive into the restaurant world. The legally blind business owner has over ten years of experience in the industry, and is an active advocate for the blind/deaf community. He is quoted on another of his restaurant’s site, Southern Eats Texas, saying, “I have always enjoyed cooking and making delicious food as a young man for family and friends, and after graduating from business school, I got involved in various food industry settings from running convenience stores and cafeterias which further enhanced my experience in the food/restaurant business.”
