Alec Marshi, the owner of Royal Painting Inc., is branching into the restaurant industry with a yet-to-be named seafood restaurant. The restaurant will open at 8111 Preston Suite Road #150 sometime this fall.
The 9,948-square-foot space will undergo construction that is estimated in a filing with the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation to complete around November.
Though a menu and restaurant details are yet to be announced, Marshi proved his business acumen with Royal Painting, which launched in 2006 and has risen as a top competitor in the Dallas commercial painting scene. He will operate the restaurant under Big Dill LLC.
The restaurant will join Preston Commons, which houses office spaces, a 2,500-square-foot modern fitness center, large outdoor work and gathering spaces, and a 4,000-square-foot conference center.
