151 Coffee Continues North Texas Growth

From lattes and cold brews to energy drinks and smoothies, this brand’s menu will be available at several new locations in coming months.

The Dallas-Fort Worth area coffee shop, 151 Coffee, that lives by the motto, “it’s a good day to have a good day,” is expanding its footprint. Several new locations for 151 Coffee are expected to open in coming months.

Director of Construction for 151 Coffee Danny Giesbrecht told What Now Dallas that 151 Coffee currently has eight locations across DFW and that construction is currently underway at 3601 Lakeview Pkwy. in Rowlett. The Rowlett location could open before the end of 2022.

They just broke ground on what will be store number 10 at 165 John Jones Dr. in Burleson in front of H-E-B plus! A third location, which is number 11 for the North Texas brand, is set for Grandscape in The Colony. Giesbrecht said they plan to break ground soon for The Colony coffee shop, which could open in the first quarter of 2023. More locations are being planned for other areas of DFW.

The menu at 151 Coffee drive-thru stores offers a variety of classic coffee drinks such as Americano, latte, and espresso, plus frappes, cold brews and nitro brews, infused energy drinks, and black and green teas. A variety of sauces and flavors can be added, and shakes, smoothies, and hot chocolate are also on the menu.

Mark Wattles, who has founded and financed multiple businesses including Firebirds Wood Fired Grill and HomeAdvisor.com, founded the 151 Coffee concept in DFW in 2017.
