Whiskey Cake’s new location is a sprawling 9,000-square-foot space designed to accommodate over 350 guests. The restaurant features three private event spaces and a temperature-controlled patio. Inside, high tops and a central bar area help create the lively, high-energy vibe that Whiskey Cake is known for.

“Whiskey Cake is all about breaking the mold of the traditional American tavern,” said Ben Woodring, Vice President of Operations for Whiskey Cake in a statement. “We’re pushing boundaries with scratch-made dishes and creative craft cocktails that keep people coming back for more. The energy in our restaurants is electric, and we can’t wait to bring that vibe and a fresh new experience to the Fort Worth Alliance community.”

Whiskey Cake’s menu includes appetizers like Goat Cheese Fondue and Flash-Fried Brussels Sprouts. Guests can dive into mains like the Rotisserie Farm Bird, Tavern Burger, and Bone-In Pork Chop. Of course, no visit to Whiskey Cake would be complete without trying its namesake dessert, the Whiskey Cake, a sticky toffee cake topped with spiced pecans and house-made vanilla whipped cream.

Behind the bar, Whiskey Cake delivers a standout craft cocktail program featuring house-made syrups, fresh-squeezed juices, and garden-to-glass creations that showcase the best ingredients. The drink menu includes whiskey flights, classic cocktails like old fashioneds, a variety of IPAs on tap, and a selection of zero-proof beverages, ensuring there’s something for everyone to enjoy. The restaurant also highlights a carefully curated whiskey collection, available in 2 oz pours, spotlighting the best from local and national distilleries.

Whiskey Cake also offers its weekend brunch on Saturdays and Sundays, featuring dishes like Carrot Cake Pancake Stack and the savory Wagyu Wake-Up Hash.

Whiskey Cake was founded in 2010 in Plano, Texas, and has since grown to ten locations across Texas, Oklahoma, and Florida, with plans for further expansion across the United States.
