Toca Madera’s first Dallas and second Texas home will occupy 13,221 square feet at 2203 Commerce Street. The space will allow the unique eatery to greet and seat 415 guests. Visitors will be able to choose to enjoy their meals at an interior dining room or on an outdoor patio.
Toca Madera is still in the early stages; Noble 33 plans to begin developing the property this year. It is far too early in the process to estimate a precise opening date, however the hospitality group is aiming to open the restaurant’s doors at some point in 2026.
While Dallas diners may think they’ve seen everything a steakhouse has to offer, Toca Madera is certain to wow even the most cynical foodie. In addition to a menu full of Mexican-steakhouse fusion cuisine, the restaurant will have a members’ speakeasy, a full-service bar, a lounge, a private dining room, and fire performers to keep things toasty.
Noble 33 co-founder and CEO Mikey Tanha explains that Noble 33 has been eying Dallas for sometime. He states “This will be the sixth location and one of the largest footprints in the Toca Madera portfolio — a testament to Dallas’s international flair and rich culture. Bringing our version of a Mexico City Steakhouse to the great city of Dallas has been a longtime goal, and we can’t wait for residents to enjoy the unique and immersive Toca Madera dining experience.”
Executive chef Martin Heieling has painstakingly crafted the Toca Madera menu to feature the best tastes of Mexico City and modern steakhouses. Guests can look forward to feasting on dishes including Wagyu tacos and sashimi Mexicano.
The Toca Madera website states that the restaurant uses sustainable, organic ingredients, ensuring customers can feel good about their meals. Visitors hoping to enjoy a glass of vino are in luck; the eatery won the 2024 Award of Excellence from Wine Spectator.
Founded in West Hollywood in 2015, Toca Madera currently has four locations open and in operation, one of which is in Houston.
