The Toasted Yolk Café is planning two new locations for DFW in the first part of 2022. The first will open by the beginning of the year at 2800 East Southlake Blvd in Southlake’s Gateway Plaza Shopping Center. The 4,056-square-foot restaurant was originally planned to open in late fall of this year.

The second will open in Addison in spring 2022. An exact location has not yet been announced.

The locations are being brought to the area by Jacqui Brewer, current Toasted Yolk franchise partner and former longtime multi-unit operator of Dallas-based Wing Stop.

“The Toasted Yolk Café is a dominant force in the booming breakfast, brunch and lunch category, so we jumped on the opportunity to bring it to DFW,” Brewer said, per RestaurantNews.com. “In addition to its proven success, the brand features a fully-supported business model that’s designed for maximum bottom-line impact and growth. Not to mention the fact that it’s simply a fun brand to be a part of. The Toasted Yolk is the perfect fit for the DFW market and is sure to be an instant sensation across the Metroplex.”

Earlier this year, Toasted Yolk partnered with several multi-unit operators to bring nine new locations to the metroplex. Flower Mound, Fort Worth, Frisco, McKinney, Plano, Prosper and Richardson are the additional seven cities that are set to get their own taste of the cafe’s boozy farm-to-table breakfast, brunch and lunch.

And according to the brand’s CEO and co-founder Chris Milton, the metroplex has long been ready for such an expansion.

“There isn’t an area that agrees that breakfast, brunch and lunch are best served with a cocktail more than DFW,” Milton said. “We’re proud to partner with such a seasoned restaurant operator like Jacqui to bring The Toasted Yolk to DFW as we continue our growth throughout our home state.”

Founded in Houston in 2010 by Milton and his longtime friend, Mathew DeMott, the full-service neighborhood eatery features reimagined interpretations of traditional breakfast, brunch and lunch classics. Guests can enjoy egg specialties and coffee in the morning, boozy cocktails and savory pancakes at brunch, and a variety of delicious salads, sandwiches and soups at lunch.

There are currently 18 Toasted Yolk locations in operation in the Lone Star State. Along with the DFW expansion, additional locations are being planned for Austin, Cedar Park, Highland Village, Houston, Richmond and Rosenberg, Texas; as well as locations in Alabama, Florida and Tennessee.
