A new Smoothie King is slated to open just south of I-30 on Fort Worth Ave. near Hampton Rd. in Dallas in January 2023. “We just submitted with the city of Dallas for our permits, so once we get permits, we can start construction,” said Lanetta Williams, Smoothie King owner. “Hopefully, in the next 30-45 days, we’ll have permits, and we can get started.”

This will be Williams’ first Smoothie King location. “I love smoothies. I have one every single day,” Williams said. “It was just a brand that I could stand behind because they are about health and wellness.”

The Smoothie King menu is full of flavorful and healthy options. From Get Fit and Feel Energized Blends to Enjoy a Treat and Be Well Blends, Smoothie King has something for everyone. Flavors include Apple Kiwi Bunga and Choc-A-Laka for the kids, and for those trying to manage their weight, Lean1 Pineapple Mango and Keto Champ Coffee are just a couple of flavors to try.

Williams is excited about opening Smoothie King at 2222 Fort Worth Ave., #110B-1 in Dallas. “It’s right across from 24 Hour Fitness. It’s a great location, apartments all around, and I think they’re really building that area up, so I’m excited about it.”

Williams, her two sons, and her husband are all involved in opening the Dallas location. “It’s really a family business, and we’re planning on expanding,” Williams told What Now Dallas. “I’m just excited to bring this to Dallas and do something with my family.”
