Multiple Tarrant County Wingstop restaurants will be moving into new locations. Owner Tommy Hicks has already moved one of his Wingstop locations from 2030 S. Cooper in Arlington to his new shopping center at 901 West Pioneer Pkwy. in Arlington.

With higher rent and aging facilities, Hicks decided to construct new shopping centers and relocate his restaurants. This way, Hicks has more control over the property including parking and lights. “I’m very thankful, and I love doing what I do. So, I’m moving and getting something better.”

Wingstop at 910 S. Crowley in Crowley will move into a new, nearby shopping center at 900 S. Crowley. This Wingstop location could open by the end of September, but Hicks said they are still waiting on some equipment.

Wingstop at 2651 E. Broad St., #103 in Mansfield will move to 2210 E. Broad St., hopefully in mid-December. The new restaurant will offer more parking spaces, which will be 10-feet wide to provide more space for drivers.

Other Wingstop relocations are scheduled to happen by the summer of 2023. One Wingstop that has been at 2723 8th Ave. in Fort Worth since 2007 will move to 3001 Stanley Ave., about two blocks from the current location. Another restaurant at 2400 E. Pioneer Pkwy. in Arlington will move to 2800 E. Pioneer Pkwy.

“They can eat wherever they want to, and they’re choosing me. I’ve really got to put some thought into how I build these buildings,” Hicks told What Now Dallas. Most of his Wingstop restaurant business is to-go orders. “It’s all about the customers having better parking.”

Hicks is also planning a new Wingstop restaurant to open in mid-December at 916 E. Seminary Dr. in Fort Worth. “We’re very excited about that.”

Wingstop offers a selection of wet and dry flavors for chicken wings and strips. From Cajun and Lemon Pepper to Hickory Smoked BBQ and Mango Habanero, there is a favorite for just about everyone. Guests can also enjoy a side of French fries or fresh carrot and celery sticks with tasty ranch for dipping.
