The menu features a variety of do-nut flavors including glazed, iced, cream-filled, and cake. You can also get bear claws, twists, cinnamon rolls, and coffee.

The space for the new Shipley Do-Nuts at 112 W. Princeton Dr. in Princeton is just over 1,900 square feet. Construction to renovate the interior could begin this spring and wrap up in the fall of 2023, according to a recent project filing.

Michael Poates, CEO of HPL Capital LLC, is listed as the tenant for the Princeton location. Poates is overseeing Shipley’s 25-unit expansion across the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex.

Lawrence Shipley Sr. developed the original “do-nut” recipe in 1936 and later opened the first Shipley Do-Nuts in Houston. The franchise now has several hundred restaurants across the country.
