The shop unceremoniously shuttered alongside every other Foxtrot location in April of 2024. Co-founder Mike LaVitola has been working diligently to reopen various locations, including the 3130 Knox Street market. The concept will reopen with customer favorite products and a revamped cafe menu in January of 2025.

Fans can look forward to a broadened and improved breakfast taco selection. New additions will include grilled veggie, borracho bean, and brisket guisado tacos.

Foxtrot was founded in 2016 in Chicago and made its Dallas debut 3 years later. At the peak of its powers, the market had 4 locations in the city, however at the moment, LaVitola and his co-founder Taylor Bloom are only planning to reopen two. Speaking of returning to the community, Bloom says “”We are delighted to welcome our Dallas neighbors back to our newly reopened locations on Knox Street and in Snider Plaza, University Park.”
