Owner Alexis Misner has been selling her creations at local farmers markets as Misner Family Farms and plans to open her first storefront—The Sour Boule—this summer, possibly in July.

On the brand’s website, Misner reflects on making her first loaf of bread with her grandmother. “The fresh hot bread covered in butter, sitting at the counter just slicing piece after piece off with grandma, mesmerizing! Being able to give my kids that flavor with quality ingredients and no preservatives is the best feeling,” she stated on the website.

This home bakery currently located just south of Benbrook specializes in sourdough bread and cookies but also offers delivery orders for apple pie, bagels, cinnamon raisin bread, and even charcuterie bread boxes. Dinner rolls, cinnamon rolls, sandwich bread, and a variety of muffins are also available.

The CultureMap Fort Worth article mentions that The Sour Boule will also offer diners coffees, as well as breakfast and lunch sandwiches when it opens its storefront in Fort Worth.
