Per a recent state project filing, the restaurant is coming to 6119 Greenville Ave. The area is home to Caruth Haven Plaza which offers a variety of dining, retail and other businesses.

Renovation work on an existing 1,232-square-foot space is expected to start in May and be completed by September.

Pei Wei, a leading fresh, Asian fast-casual restaurant chain, was founded in 2000 by P. F. Chang’s China Bistro. In 2017, the brand split from its parent company and even moved its headquarters from Scottsdale, Arizona to Irving, Texas.

At the time, then CEO John Hedrick said the Dallas-Fort Worth area was home to some of the brand’s “most loyal guests and highest-performing restaurants.” Our business-friendly climate, strong transportation system and deep talent pool were other reasons the brand decided to move to the Lone Star State.

Offering bold, Asian flavors paired with sit-down quality and takeout convenience, Pei Wei’s menu includes wok classics featuring rice, noodle and salad bowls. There’s also bento boxes and lighter options like lettuce wraps and sushi.

Pei Wei owns and operates restaurants in 20 states of which the largest concentration is in the DFW area.
