Black Rock Coffee Bar was founded in Portland, Oregon in 2008. The quick-serve coffee shop has been growing across the state recently with locations popping up across DFW, San Antonio, and the Houston area.

It’s well-known for its premium roasted coffees, teas, smoothies, and energy drinks. Some coffee menu favorites include the Caramel Blondie, Mexican Mocha, and Jackhammer, which includes vanilla mocha with an extra double shot.

Construction on the newest Dallas location in a 2,500-square-foot space could begin this spring and wrap up in late summer. There’s no official word on when it might open to the public.

Guided by three principles—coffee, community, and connection—Black Rock Coffee Bar’s mission is to be a positive force in the community while providing the younger generation with an opportunity to develop work and leadership skills.
