The town of Prosper is officially on the map. It’s getting a Target.
According to Check Out DFW, everyone’s favorite place to make a “quick” run at is coming to Gates of Prosper. It will be part of the third phase of the 800-acre development, which is located between Preston Rd and US 380.
“We’re excited to bring an easy, safe and convenient shopping experience to new guests in the Prosper community with this new Target store,” a spokesperson said. “As we get closer to opening the store, we’ll have more specific details to share – including how the shopping experience will be tailored to serve local guests and the grand opening date.”
Gates of Prosper is a master-planned retail development that is home to a number of restaurants and retailers. Nationally known brands such as Burlington, Chick-fil-A, Dick’s Sporting Goods, Kirkland’s, Starbucks and more have all opened locations there.
Calloway’s Nursery also has a location in the works for Gates of Prosper.
Based in Minneapolis, Minnesota, Target has nearly 2,000 stores across the U.S. where guests know to “expect more” and “pay less.”
Prosper’s 135,000-square-foot Target store is expected to open in 2023.
