The addresses for the concept’s upcoming storefronts are not currently available, however What Now Dallas has reached out to the Hawkers’ team, requesting further information.
2024 has been a difficult year for Hawkers; the company filed for bankruptcy on September 16 of this year. Despite this complication, the restaurant has no intentions of closing any of its existing locations, nor does it intend to change its plans for the five new storefronts it has in the pipeline.
Hawkers, which has earned Michelin Guide recognition, has a modest established presence in Dallas. Local foodies eager to sample the eatery’s cuisine can pop into one of its locations in Deep Ellum or Addison.
The Hawkers menu features an impressive selection of Asian street foods. Guests can look forward to enjoying dim sum favorites including bao buns and wontons, as well as rice, curries, and noodle dishes.
