Called Fizz, the concept is coming to 3310 Dallas Pkwy and will occupy suite 115 in West Plano Village. Construction work and hiring is set to wrap up in April and owner Jeff Murtha is shooting for an opening the first week of May.

“FIZZ is Plano’s newest coffee / wine lounge, set to open in early May,” a Facebook description for the business reads, “featuring a stunning patio bar and modern contemporary atmosphere.”

Fizz has been in the works for quite some time. It was originally planned to open November 2021, but the actual groundbreaking didn’t happen until then. It sounds, however, like it’ll be worth the wait.

From 6 AM until 2 PM, guests can expect coffee made with beans from eight to ten different countries. And if coffee doesn’t quite do it for you in the morning, you’ll be happy to hear that Fizz will also have a full bar with an extensive wine list during that time.

Light eats will include charcuterie boards featuring a variety of international cheeses and caviars, as well as fruit and vegetables from local vendors.

Fizz will offer “Martini Happy Hour” from 5 to 9 PM with live entertainment. And then from 10 PM until 2 PM, Fizz turns into a lounge with craft cocktails, a huge wine and champagne list, and some of DFW’s best DJs in the house.

Sounds like a chill new spot to hang out to us.
