Hollister told What Now Dallas he doesn’t know when the rebrand will begin, but he hopes it’s soon. “We’re waiting on a few legal details before we can get rolling on that,” Hollister said. Wild Acre has been acquired by Bishop Cider and is still in operation at 6473 Camp Bowie Blvd. in Fort Worth. Hollister hopes to rebrand Wild Acre to Boozie’s without disrupting operations.

A Boozie’s Fairview location is also in the works. The Fairview location will be branded as Boozie’s Brewery and TX Fare. Hollister hopes to open that location in September or October of this year.

Both the Camp Bowie and the Fairview location will include an on-site brewery. They also plan to brew root beer and a few sodas.

The menus will differ at each location. “Camp Bowie is all gourmet sandwiches. We make as much as we can from scratch, so all the deli meats, the sauces are all made from scratch,” Hollister explained. The Fairview brewery will feature Texas fare—chicken fried steak, grilled steaks, and pork chops to name a few.

Hollister is also planning to open a second Fort Worth Boozie’s location off White Settlement Rd. “That one will be a burger and brats concept but no brewery will be in that one. We’ll actually produce the beer for that location in Fairview and then distribute it to the White Settlement location.”

There is no word on when the second Fort Worth location might open. “There’s a lot going on, but it’s exciting.”
