The Shire at CityLine in Richardson is set to get two new restaurants by summer 2022.
Coming to 3613 Shire Blvd, 42 BBQ Smokehouse + Market will occupy suite 100 in the development’s Phase 2. It is expected to open by May 1. The forthcoming restaurant will be open for breakfast and lunch, serving breakfast tacos and other barbecue options. The space it is moving into was previously home to Main Street Bakery & Bistro.
42 BBQ will be joined a couple of months later by sister restaurant, LimeHoney – a modern Mexican eatery. It will also open at 3613 Shire Blvd, but occupy suite 180. Guests can expect classic Mexican lunch and dinner dishes, such as brisket tacos, to be served. The forthcoming restaurant will also feature a full-service bar and covered patio. According to a Community Impact report, it is expected to open by July 1.
Built in 2000, The Shire is a 83,000-square-foot mixed-use development that is home to a number of retail, office and restaurant spaces. 42 BBQ and LimeHoney will be joining the neighborhood with restaurants such as Silver Fox, Liberty Burger and Apollonia’s Italian Kitchen.
