Three to four Scooter’s Coffee locations are in the works for the DeSoto and Duncanville area. Franchisee Ted Straub told What Now Dallas the quick-service, drive-thru coffee shops will probably open in the fourth quarter of 2023 with at least two other DFW locations planned for 2024.

What Now Dallas earlier reported on Straub’s Scooter’s Coffee planned for 700 W. Camp Wisdom Rd. in Duncanville, which could open to the public in April of next year. The Duncanville location will be the ninth Scooter’s Coffee for Straub. “We can’t wait to be open and get to meet everybody,” Straub shared.

“We’re very excited about going into the Duncanville community. We think it’s going to be an absoluty fantastic market,” Straub told What Now Dallas. “We’re really planning on supporting the community, getting involved locally. We always think that’s extremely important and an opportunity for us to give back. We always look for hiring locally.”

Scooter’s Coffee is known for its brewed coffees, lattes, and cappuccinos. Straub said the Caramelicious is the most popular drink at Scooter’s Coffee. “That is our signature drink, which is made with espresso, steamed milk, a caramel sauce, and then it’s topped with whipped cream and even more caramel drizzle on top. You can get that hot, iced, or blended.”

The second most popular is the Red Bull Infusion—a Red Bull-based drink with a fruit syrup of your choice, topped with lemonade. For food items, the maple waffle sandwich and cinnamon rolls are top choices for guests.
