Per a release from the city, the forthcoming pizzeria will open at 2450 Cross Timbers Rd. It will occupy suite 100, an endcap of 2,900 square feet.

An exact opening date has not yet been announced, but in an email to What Now Dallas, a spokesperson for the brand said the location is currently on track to open in early to mid-September.

Founded in Seattle in 2008 by serial entrepreneurs Scott and Ally Svenson, MOD has set itself apart from other pizza brands with its purpose-led, people-first approach to the space. The brand serves individual artisan-style pizzas and salads that are made on demand (that’s what the MOD stands for), allowing guests to create their own pizza and salad options.

With over 30 toppings and 8 sauces to choose from, you can get any combination of pizza or salad you want for the same price. If you don’t want to create your own, you can choose from one of MOD’s 8 classic pizzas:

  • Maddy – classic cheese pizza
  • Mad Dog – mozzarella, pepperoni, mild sausage, ground beef, red sauce
  • Tristan – mozzarella, asiago, roasted red peppers, mushrooms, pesto
  • Dominic – white sauce, asiago, fresh chopped basil, red onion, sliced tomatoes, mild sausage
  • Lucy Sunshine – mozzarella, parmesan, artichokes, garlic, dollops of red sauce
  • Jasper – mozzarella, mushrooms, spicy chicken sausage, red sauce
  • Dillon James – mozzarella, asiago, fresh chopped basil, garlic, sliced tomatoes, red sauce
  • Calexico – mozzarella, gorgonzola, chicken, jalapenos, hot buffalo sauce, red sauce
  • Caspian – mozzarella, gorgonzola, bbq chicken, barbecue sauce, sliced red onions

There’s also the Pizza Salad – an option that’s true to its name. Literally, salad on a pizza crust.

MOD Pizza has over 500 locations across the U.S. and a good number of those are here in Texas. We have the most with 101 MODs currently open and operating across our great state.
