The pizzeria was born from the idea that an extraordinary pizza requires attention to detail and the finest ingredients. Mister O1 uses only the freshest ingredients with most being sourced from Italy or from local vendors.

Artisanal pizzas feature a thin crust style in a variety of combinations. Options include the Scott with mozzarella, lemon chicken, onions, and fresh tomatoes; the Star Beckham, which is a star-shaped pizza filled with ricotta cheese, mozzarella, bacon, onions, fresh tomatoes, ranch dressing, and basil; and the Ginger Lilliam with Italian tomato sauce, fresh burrata, Stracciatella cheese, black pepper, and organic ginger.

Calzones, salads, antipasti, and dessert pizzas will also be available. In addition to the food menu, Mister O1 offers red, white, and sparkling Italian wines by the glass and bottle, as well as the well-known Italian beer, Peroni.

Founder and Master Pizza Chef Renato Viola moved to Florida from Italy under the O1 Visa category, reserved for those with “extraordinary artistic ability,” and opened the first location of Mister O1 in 2014. In 2021, the concept was named “best pizza” in Florida in Food & Wine. Mister O1 now has more than a dozen locations.

The first Dallas store opened in the fall of 2022 in the popular dining destination of Turtle Creek Shopping Village and the second location in Grapevine this past spring under the direction of local Franchise Partner, John LaBarge. LaBarge will open the location in Mansfield.

“Entering the Mansfield market will be a great additional dining destination for those who live and work in the community, and it will also help us introduce the brand to the surrounding drive-market areas in the southern part of the Metroplex,” LaBarge said in a press statement. “Opening to rave guest reviews in Grapevine has given us great confidence and credibility that our concept fits into any lifestyle – we are a family-friendly restaurant, convenient for both small and large groups, essentially a quick and easy, unique dining experience.”
