Dallas will gain two new Merit Coffee locations before the end of 2022 with more planned for coming years. Merit Coffee CEO Bill Ellis hopes to open Merit Coffee at 7865 Firefall Way, Ste. F180 in Dallas sometime this October.
“We have a lot to do in a short period of time,” Ellis said. The space was a former food and beverage operation, so some infrastructure is already in place. “We will be essentially doing a complete facelift on the inside of the space, as well as creating some pretty exciting outdoor seating options.”
The second planned location will be in the Preston Forest Shopping Center at 11700 Preston Rd. in Dallas. Merit Coffee already has cafés in operation in Deep Ellum and one in Highland Park.
“We’ve had great success in Dallas with our first two café locations, and we believe that Dallas is a wonderful market to continue to expand into as we continue to expand the brand across the state of Texas,” Ellis told What Now Dallas.
The traditional espresso-based coffee company sources, roasts, and brews all products. “We are vertically integrated. We provide a truly high-end café experience,” Ellis said.
Merit Coffee offers lattes, cold brews, cappuccinos, juices, pastries, and grab-and-go sandwiches. Merchandise is also available, so you can pick up a coffee mug, shirt or hat, and bagged ground coffee or instant coffee.
“Here at Merit Coffee, we provide beautiful community spaces for people to come together over a great cup of coffee,” he shared. “Our goal is to be the light in our communities that we serve and to be the bright spot in our customers’ days. That’s what our mission is.”
