It appears that Lucas will gain a new Wingstop in coming months. According to a recent project filing, the newest addition to the fast-casual chicken brand will open in suite 400 at the southeast corner of Angel Pkwy. and McGarity Ln. in Lucas.

Wingstop serves a variety of flavorful wings, strips, and fried chicken sandwiches. Diners can select from a variety of wet and dry flavors, as well as heat levels. Some flavor examples include Cajun, Hickory Smoked BBQ, and Garlic Parmesan. The heat level ranges from “No Heat” to “All the Heat.”

Diners can add seasoned French fries, fresh carrot and celery sticks, plus the ranch made fresh each day. Other sides include Cheese Fries, which are smothered in a jalapeño cheese sauce.

The filing states construction for an interior build-out on the 1,500-square-foot space could begin in late summer and wrap up in the fall of 2023. There’s no word on when Wingstop might open to begin serving diners in the Lucas area.

Wingstop first opened in Garland in 1994 and has dozens of locations across the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex.
