A new Japanese bar and restaurant is coming to Carrollton this winter.
Kichi Bar is owned and operated by first-time restaurateur Ethan Kim. The full-service bar will offer Japanese menu items with authentic flavors for locals to enjoy.
The former Capital One building is being renovated to accommodate new furnishings and a custom-designed buildout of the 2,700-square-foot space, according to permits filed with the state.
“We expect the bar and menu will be ready for the public this December,” Kim said. “We want them to enjoy the season here.”
The location was chosen for its proximity to shopping and additional restaurant options for gathering friends and family.
