A Cajun-inspired seafood restaurant is in the works for Keller. Te’Jun The Texas Cajun has two locations in operation—one in Red Oak and a second in Robinson, plus a mobile option. The restaurant serving Cajun favorites such as blackened chicken and po-boys will next open at 541 Keller Pkwy., according to a Facebook post by the City of Keller.

“We are excited to make Keller, Texas, the location for our third Te’Jun restaurant,” owner Joe Reid said in the Facebook announcement. “Keller is a very family-centric community, which was an important criterion for us. We also feel this community places a lot of emphasis on outdoor experiences, which is central for enjoying what Te’Jun offers.”

The fast-casual restaurant boasts a family-friendly atmosphere with all of their restaurants near water featuring a relaxing patio with outdoor games and fish feeding. The post continued that Te’Jun hopes to stock the pond that backs up to the property just northwest of the Keller Pkwy./Bourland Rd. intersection to offer fishing on site.

The menu features crawfish, crab, boudin balls, and fried shrimp, alligator, and fish. Diners can enjoy a variety of po-boys, shrimp etouffee, gumbo, red beans and rice, or a burger, plus beignets for dessert.

The Keller Te’Jun will offer indoor dining, as well as a drive-thru window. Te’Jun hopes to open the doors to the Keller location in the fall of 2024 if all goes according to plan.
