Plans are to open a new Cinnaholic at Epic West Towne Crossing in Grand Prairie by the end of March 2023. That’s according to owner Connie Burks who said they are still waiting on appliances but that construction is moving along.
The new Grand Prairie Cinnaholic location at 3154 S.H. 161, Ste. 650 will be Burks’ first, but she has plans to open a second storefront in the future possibly at Highland Park Village in Dallas or at The Shops at Clearfork in Fort Worth.
Burks first experienced a Cinnaholic cinnamon roll while vacationing with girlfriends in Atlanta. “I fell in love with it,” Burks told What Now Dallas. “The fact that it is vegan, as well, was great. I didn’t even know it at the time.” She discussed the idea of opening a store with her husband, did some research, and reached out to Cinnaholic. “We were sold.”
Cinnaholic offers a variety of 100% plant-based cinnamon rolls using ingredients that are animal-free and free of dairy, lactose, eggs, and cholesterol. “We have cookies, we have cakes, ice cream, so it’s a variety of things.”
You can customize your own cinnamon roll creation with a selection of frosting and toppings or choose a signature roll. The Cookie Monster is a cinnamon roll topped with cream cheese frosting, homemade chocolate chip cookie dough, chocolate chips, and chocolate sauce. You could also try a classic cinnamon roll with vanilla frosting—the Old Skool—plus coffee, tea, and espresso. You can order in store, and Cinnaholic also offers catering.
“Being that we are going to be expanding into the Grand Prairie area,” she said, “we’re just excited to be part of the community.”
