The fun and festivities of the Fourth of July is just the start for “Caniacs” in Garland because they’re about to get another celebration – along with some delicious chicken fingers. On Wednesday, July 6, Raising Cane’s will open the doors to its second Garland location, which will feature a double-lane drive thru designed to serve Garland Caniacs their quality chicken fingers faster than before.
Located at 5370 N. Garland Ave., the city’s newest Raising Cane’s is located just a short drive from Firewheel, one of the area’s most popular shopping destinations, and outdoor waterpark Hawaiian Falls Garland. The new Restaurant will kick off its grand opening with an official ribbon-cutting ceremony hosted by the Garland Chamber of Commerce at 9 a.m.
Caniacs will want to join the celebration early because Raising Cane’s will host a “Lucky 20” drawing to award 20 Customers ages 13 and older Free Cane’s for a Year! The Restaurant will accept entries between 8-9 a.m. and will announce the winners at 9 a.m. Caniacs must be present to win. The first 100 dine-in Customers to order a Combo Meal will also receive a commemorative Cane’s t-shirt and The Box Combo gift card to use on their next visit.
Joining in on the fun will be the Naaman Forest High School Marching Band playing live music with the school’s award-winning Sterling Stars drill team and cheerleaders dancing and cheering along. Caniacs will also be able to meet members of the Dallas Mavericks’ Maniacs dance team from 9-11 a.m.! DJs from three local radio stations will also be doing live broadcasts from the new Restaurant throughout the week.

Garland’s newest Raising Cane’s will serve Customers through its mobile app, multi-lane drive-thru, takeout and dine-in. Open Sunday through Thursday from 10 a.m. to midnight and Friday and Saturday between 10 a.m. and 1 a.m., Raising Cane’s will be the perfect destination for lunch, dinner and late-night meals. This will mark Raising Cane’s 185th location in Texas.
At Raising Cane’s, it all starts with 100% premium white meat chicken tenderloins that are marinated, hand-battered and cooked to order. The menu is also renowned for its craveable – some say addictive – secret-recipe Cane’s sauce, crinkle-cut fries, coleslaw, Texas toast, freshly brewed sweet tea and fresh-squeezed lemonade.
