A new restaurant featuring Asian-inspired dumplings, curries, sweets, and more is tentatively set to open on Magnolia Ave. in Fort Worth this August. “We’re hoping to be the first dumpling house in Fort Worth,” said Hao Tran, owner of The Pantry. “It’s very exciting.”

Tran also owns The Table Market & Culinary Studio at 120 St. Louis Ave., which is about a mile away from the new concept, The Pantry. The Table Market & Culinary Studio sells local foods much like a grocery store. “I’ve always wanted a place where, not only can I offer a little retail but restaurant-wise, have walk-in service,” Tran said.

“The Pantry is driven by Grandma’s recipes. Those recipes inspire what we make in the store,” Tran told What Now Dallas. The Pantry will initially be open for dinner and late-night service, and lunch service could be added at a later date. It will also have a pantry for artisan foods and takeaway items.

The new space for The Pantry is currently undergoing infrastructure improvements, electrical updates, and some cosmetics changes at 713 W. Magnolia Ave., Fort Worth, TX 76104.

The Pantry will offer indoor seating and limited seating on the patio out front. “Eventually, it will have a back patio.” The Pantry will also be a spot to host classes, events, and private parties.
