Birrieria Los Chivos de Oro has been serving diners at its current space at 4221 Hemphill St. in Fort Worth for just over five years. But, a move just down the street is now scheduled for the restaurant. “This opportunity came, and we had the chance to buy it, so we decided to buy the building,” said Ricardo Luis, Jr., manager of Birrieria Los Chivos de Oro.

They are working on permitting for the new location at 4351 Hemphill St. and hope to make the move to the new space by the end of 2023. Luis said they are excited about the move. “We’re stoked to be able to start creating our ideas and put it into life at the new building.”

His father, Ricardo Luis, owns the restaurant. The business began in 1993, according to the website, “with one goal in mind: providing an enjoyable dining experience to the DFW area.” The dishes are authentic and made fresh.

The menu features cuisine such as birria, molcajetes, burritos, and combination plates. The restaurant’s website stated their specialty is goat meat. Meats can also be purchased by the pound. The current location offers beer, but Luis, Jr. told What Now Dallas that they hope to offer a full bar at the new location.
