La Super Ice Cream, a family-owned quick stop for Mexican-style sweet treats, ice cream and quick meals such as traditional street tacos and tortas in the greater Dallas-Fort Worth region, is planning another location in Garland.
The store would be the third location in Garland and the seventh overall for the growing business that opened its first shop in 1996. They also serve sweet and savory treats at locations in Plano, Fort Worth and Dallas. The menu includes drinks like aguas frescas (fresh fruit juices) and liquados (shakes) and food like birria tacos and authentic street corn.
The remodel of the 4,222-square-foot space at 49 W Kingsley Road is set to begin on Dec. 1, 2024, with a projected completion in summer 2025, according to permits filed with the state.
