Fajita Pete’s Planned for Plano

A to-go fajita restaurant is in the works for Plano. Fajita Pete’s is known for its simple menu that offers a few premium-quality, handmade items including award-winning fajitas and margaritas.

If you’re not in the mood for fajitas, Fajita Pete’s offers quesadillas, chicken flautas, enchiladas, chips and queso, and a few more items. And, don’t forget dessert! You can enjoy brownies, tres leches cheesecake, churro bites, and sopapillas.

G&S Business, which is comprised of David Howell, Richard Howell, and Pat “Wheels” Smith, according to a statement, owns the franchise rights for Fajita Pete’s in far North Dallas suburbs.

According to a state project filing, the remodel will convert the 1,300-square-foot space at 4021 Preston Rd., Ste. 616 in Plano into a to-go, carryout restaurant. David Howell told What Now Dallas the Fajita Pete’s in Plano will most likely open to the public in early 2023 due to construction and supply chain issues.

The Frisco Fajita Pete’s location is expected to open in about two weeks at 4150 Legacy Dr. Howell said they are actively looking at sites in Allen, McKinney, Prosper, and surrounding areas.

Founder Pete Mora first opened Fajita Pete’s in Houston in 2008 and began franchising in 2015. The brand now has more than two dozen locations in DFW and Houston.
