The forthcoming shop will be a new construction of 950 square feet. The building will include a drive-thru service window with two drive aisles and a walk-up service window. As with the brand’s other locations, there will be no indoor seating.

Launched in 1992, Dutch Bros has become a major coffee chain in recent years, keeping up with nationally known names like Starbucks and Dunkin’ Donuts and even outperforming them in some aspects. It is known, of course, for its coffee – cold brews, freezes, Americanos – but also offers a variety of other drinks including teas, smoothies, lemonades and sparkling soda water.

The brand made its Texas debut in College Station in early 2021. Since then, it has been rapidly expanding across the state with a focus on the Dallas-Fort Worth area. McKinney was the first North Texas city to land a Dutch Bros. Coffee shop.

Dutch Bros is hoping to have around 100 locations throughout Texas by 2023.
