Established in 2017, this expansion is the first venture outside of Washington state for the brand, which has a loyal following for its commitment to traditional Italian flavors and affordable pricing in four established locations. Due’ Cucina will open doors in their first Texas location at Lakewood Shopping Center – 1900 Abrams Pkwy Dallas, TX 75214, offering both indoor and outdoor dining.

Founded by high school friends CEO Davide Macchi and Executive Chef Filippo Fiori, Due’ Cucina was born out of a shared passion for Italian cuisine and a desire to bring high-quality meals to diners on the go. Drawing on their heritage and culinary expertise, as well as their business backgrounds in technology and in nuclear science, Macchi and Fiori have leveraged their diverse expertise and passion to propel their restaurant concept. “We’re thrilled to introduce Due’ Cucina to Dallas, blending traditional Italian elegance and flavors with the speed of modern life,” shared Macchi in a statement.

Featuring a menu of pasta made from scratch in-house, appetizers and desserts including items like Bolognese Ragù, Mushroom & White Truffle Oil, Eggplant Parmigiana, and Lasagna Alla Bolognese. “We serve Italian dishes made from the highest quality ingredients, imported directly from Italy or sourced locally and sustainably. Every dish is prepared from scratch daily, ensuring unparalleled taste,” said Fiori. Dué Cucina is proud to serve guest’s pasta dishes in under 8 minutes and offers ease of online orders, self-service kiosks, loyalty program and catering options. Prices remain the same from lunch to dinner, with the priciest dish being less than $15. In addition to its signature dishes and appetizers, the restaurant also sells wine, negronis and espresso drinks.
