Charleston’s is a Hal Smith Restaurants brand. Hal Smith Restaurants COO Hank Kraft told What Now Dallas that the existing patio will be remodeled to include an additional 20 seats, bringing total outdoor seating to 44. The new patio will also be covered.

The space will be tempered but with the capability to open NanaWall windows on nice days. “This additional [space] will give us the flexibility to accommodate large parties for private meetings or gatherings of larger parties,” Kraft said in an email. The new patio will also be equipped with audio/video capabilities.

Construction on the patio could begin this month, according to a state project filing. The remodel could be complete by early 2023.
