Rockwall is set to welcome a Crisp & Green salad shop.
The fast-casual, healthy eatery will be located at 2901 Ridge Rd. According to the brand’s website, it will open in April 2022.
Per a report in The Dallas Morning News, the brand is planning to expand even further across the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex in the next few years. At least 15 more salad shops are expected to open in neighborhoods with “health-conscious customers.”
Founded in 2016 in Minnesota by Steele Smiley, Crisp & Green has locations throughout its home state, as well as in Nebraska, North Dakota and South Dakota. Multiple new locations are in the works for Arizona, Colorado, Florida, Iowa, Kansas, Missouri, New Jersey, Tennessee, and Utah.
The brand began franchising in 2018 and announced national expansion in late 2020. Its first foray out of Minnesota was in Dallas’s University Park across from the SMU campus.
On its chef-crafted and scratch-made menu, guests can get their healthy food fix with salads, grain bowls, and smoothies. Signature salad offerings include:
- Cinco De Light – romaine, arugula, avocado, queso fresco, pepitas, roasted corn, tomatoes, jalapeño, blue corn chips, lime squeeze, and jalapeño lime vinaigrette
- Thai & Stop Me – arugula, mixed greens, citrus shrimp, orange slices, daikon radish, Napa cabbage, carrot, basil, mint, cilantro, peanuts, lime squeeze, and Thai peanut dressing
- Wild Wild Southwest – spinach, arugula, roasted chicken, roasted corn & poblano, black beans, white cheddar, tomatoes, cilantro, blue corn chips, and creamy Southwestern dressing
If nothing’s quite catching your fancy, you’re more than welcome to build your own by choosing from a base of greens or grains, adding a variety of toppings and your choice of dressing.
Aguas frescas, bottled beverages and a vegan rice crispies dessert are also available.
Crisp & Green currently has two locations in operation in Dallas – the first at 6565 Hillcrest Ave., and the second at 6333 E. Mockingbird Ln.
