A contemporary sushi restaurant called Hush is coming to 211 South Main St in Old Town Keller, Texas.
Slated to open its doors in Fall 2022, the new concept comes from experienced husband and wife restaurateur duo Tommy Zheng and Donny Wu of Ohio. It will feature contemporary sushi, large kitchen plates, hand-crafted cocktails and local craft beers from 12 custom draft towers. Guests will be able to order large shareable signature rolls and house infused pineapple rum for a fancy pineapple mojito.
“We’re so excited to start construction soon!” an update posted in October to the brand’s Facebook page read.
The City of Keller Government is thrilled to welcome the “exciting new restaurant” to town. “Economic Development staff have been working hard in partnership with the Mason family to find the perfect tenant for their beautiful new building at 211 South Main St. in Old Town Keller,” a Facebook post reads. “So we’re thrilled to reveal plans for Hush.”
Taking over the entire 6,500-square-foot building, the forthcoming restaurant will include two private rooms, two bars, and patio seating in addition to its main dining floor.
“Hush has been in the planning for years. We’ve been waiting for the right time and location. It’s a very fun and contemporary restaurant,” Wu told What Now Dallas via email. “We’ve wanted to move somewhere warm! Keller, Texas is an up and coming hot new location.”
With a combined 30 years of experience in the restaurant hospitality industry, Zheng and Wu currently own and operate four restaurants in Ohio – diverse concepts that include gourmet quarter pound hot dogs, Rollies ice cream shops, and Japanese steak houses.
Their new restaurant will be open Tuesdays thru Thursdays and on Sundays from 11 AM to 9 PM. On Fridays and Saturdays, it will stay open one hour later until 10. It will be closed Mondays.
